BECKY JO SHWARZ – Lead Vocals

Becky Jo Schwarz is an accomplished vocalist, emcee, and dynamic live performer with a distinguished international career spanning decades across stage, television, film, and premier live events. Originally from Flint, Michigan, and now based in Arizona, she has captivated audiences worldwide—performing at Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, and venues across six continents, highlighted by a year-long performance contract in Japan.

As the lead female vocalist for The Bobcats, Becky Jo is a prominent presence in Arizona’s live music scene, filling in with multiple bands throughout Phoenix’s East Valley. Her versatility, professionalism, and commanding stage presence have made her a sought-after talent for high-profile events, including opening major league sporting events with the U.S. and Canadian National Anthems for organizations such as the NBA, WNBA, MLB, NHL, AFL, XFL, and IRL. Known for powerhouse vocals infused with soulful depth, she delivers performances that are both technically exceptional and emotionally resonant. Beyond the stage, she serves as a worship leader and mentor within her church community, investing in developing the next generation of talent and leaders.

LES WEBSTER – Lead Vocals

Les Webster has been the lead male vocalist for The Bobcats since the band’s founding in 2020, serving as one of the driving forces behind the group’s distinctive energy and sound. With more than 40 years of performance experience across Wisconsin and Arizona, Les brings a rare combination of vocal mastery, stage presence, and seasoned professionalism to every performance.


Over the course of his career, Les has performed with a wide range of respected musical ensembles, including the acclaimed Festival Chorus. His powerful three-octave vocal range and expressive delivery have earned him leading roles in major musical theatre productions such as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Jesus Christ Superstar, and Good News.

 
Equally at home on stage or engaging directly out with the crowd, Les is known for transforming performances into shared experiences. Whether delivering soaring vocals on a show-stopping ballad or igniting the room with classics like “Great Balls of Fire,” he captivates audiences with charisma, authenticity, and enthusiasm.

BOB PERKINS – Lead Guitarist, Vocals, Songwriter

Bob Perkins launched his musical journey in Northern New York in 1969 with the Tubeless Radio Band, igniting a career that has spanned more than six decades. A dynamic lead guitarist, Bob has powered numerous bands including 2nd Street, Mantraz and Crossroads, earning a reputation for commanding performances and expressive musicianship.

 
After relocating to Arizona, he founded The Bobcats in 2020. His distinctive guitar style fuses country, southern rock, and classic rock, drawing inspiration from legendary artists such as Dickey Betts and Santana. The result is a soulful, melodic approach marked by soaring leads and heartfelt phrasing.


In 2024, Bob recorded his latest original songs in Nashville, including “Music Jam Tonight” and “A Folded Flag.” The latter stands as a moving tribute to America’s fallen soldiers, reflecting his deep respect for service and sacrifice. With unwavering dedication to his craft, Bob continues to channel his lifelong passion for music into performances and songwriting that resonate with authenticity, energy, and storytelling depth.

BOB BORGMAN – Rhythm Guitarist, Vocals, Songwriter

Bob Borgman has devoted decades to the craft of songwriting and guitar, building a body of work that reflects both dedication and artistic depth. Since 1980, he has written more than 100 original songs, recording many of them and bringing his music to life through heartfelt performances.

For over five decades, Bob has performed as both a solo artist and in small ensemble settings, earning recognition for his authentic storytelling and warm, engaging stage presence. In 2020, Bob became a founding member of The Bobcats, where his songwriting remains a driving creative force. The band regularly features his original material, including the crowd favorite “Tequila, Salt & Lime.” His strong rhythmic foundation and distinctive country tone add depth and character to The Bobcats’ diverse, high-energy sound.

With a lifetime commitment to songwriting and performance, Bob Borgman continues to create music that connects with audiences through sincerity, craftsmanship, and enduring passion.

GARY TYSON – Bass Guitar, Vocals

Gary Tyson spent much of the 1970s living and working in Nashville, Tennessee, where he built a strong reputation as a sought-after session bassist. During that time, he performed and recorded with notable artists including Sammy Smith, George Jones, Sam the Sham of “Woolly Bully” fame, Charley Louvin, and the Grand Ole Opry. His work in Nashville kept him busy in the studio, laying down tracks for a variety of prominent country and recording artists.


In 1980, Gary returned to his hometown of Mankato, Minnesota, where he launched a successful musical comedy show as a one-man act, performing corporate entertainment engagements across the country. He added an airplane to his business in 1988 so he could travel nationwide during his busiest years.

Today, Gary continues to do what he loves most: playing music. He is proud to perform with The Bobcats, calling them “one of the best groups I’ve ever worked with.”

MIKE “Hutch” HUTCHISON – Percussionist

Hutch began his musical journey in Van Nuys, California, discovering his passion for percussion in high school, where he became lead drummer for both the jazz band and school orchestra. After graduation, he immersed himself in the Sunset Strip and Hollywood rock scene, performing on some of Southern California’s most iconic stages.

He later stepped away from music to raise his son — a role he considers his greatest accomplishment — before relocating to Arizona a decade ago.

Since returning to live performance, Hutch has played with numerous blues, rock, country, and variety bands, earning a reputation as one of the valley’s most talented and expressive drummers. Rooted in classic rock and grounded in jazz and orchestral training, Joining The Bobcats team in 2025, Hutch brings a powerful, refined style that drives the rhythm with precision and feel.

LE RICHIE – Lead Sound Engineer

Le is an accomplished audio engineer, songwriter, and recording artist originally from San Diego, California, now based in Arizona. With a strong foundation in both the technical and creative aspects of music production, she brings a dynamic, artist-focused approach to every project—whether behind the mixing console or in the studio.


A 2024 graduate of The Conservatory of Recording Arts & Sciences, Le received comprehensive training in audio engineering, live sound reinforcement, and studio production. She completed her internship at Last Exit Live, a prominent downtown Arizona music venue.


Currently, Le serves as the Lead Sound Technician for The Bobcats, where she oversees live audio production and has earned a reputation for excellence in sound clarity, consistency, and professionalism. Known for her technical precision, calm presence under pressure, and collaborative spirit, she is committed to creating exceptional audio experiences for both artists and audiences alike.
